Phew! It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Rebranding was my last letter to you, and it took me away😂. Rebranding is not easy at all, especially for someone like me who develops a new interest every market day. We also increased to 170 subscribers since my last letter🥳! The fact that a hundred and seventy people want to listen to me talk and do what I enjoy makes me so happy! I’m excited 💃🏽!

How are you doing? With my experiences these past months, best believe I truly want to know. You can respond to this email or even comment underneath it. I’ve learnt how important it is to check up on people. Life does not get any easier; so it’s left to us to become tougher and more intentional.
This explains why I was cooking jollof rice by 11pm last night. I had an extremely busy week with work and midterms and preparation for finals, and I haven’t been eating well. I made the food but I didn’t eat it😂. It’s safe in the refrigerator though.
I had nothing much to say when I started writing this newsletter but, I just realized something. It’s easy for us to sit down and complain about how difficult life is. I’m one of those who do it. But truthfully, I always feel random bursts of energy and productivity that make me want to do as much as I can before I start feeling lazy again.
The sun sets very early here now, by 4 pm. Imagine how difficult it is to have to fit in every thing you have to do into so little time. I never wake up early, but I’ve found myself having to do so these days, because of classes and just to enjoy the little sunlight there is. It’s also getting colder.
Anyway, it is often said that, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.” I choose to be tough. It’s -6 degrees but it feels like -14. I can already see how going out today is impossible for me. I have other things to keep me busy though. No time to waste.
What have I been up to?
One word: cinematography. I told you, a new interest every market day. I love this one though. It helps me see life like a movie. The best part? I love writing. I can write scripts. Cinematography is more or less like making scenes look cinematic. I am also a content creator. I hope the dots are connecting now. I tried making a cinematic video with the camera my friend got me for my birthday (such a thoughtful gift by the way) and it came out beautifully. I’ll show you here.
My absolute favourite time of the year is here. It’s Christmas 😭🥳🥳! What are your plans for Christmas this year? With all I’ve gone through this year, I’m grateful for the people inviting me to various Christmas gatherings. Jingle Bells people! Merry Christmas in advance🤭.
